FAQ
Good to know
What exactly is free-roam VR?
You wear a wireless headset and physically walk around a 4.5 m × 4.5 m arena. You see your teammates as avatars, and your real movement is your in-game movement. No cables, no backpack, no treadmill.
Do I need to book?
Yes, we strongly recommend it. The arena takes four players at a time, so sessions run on timed slots. Book online, arrive a few minutes early, and play — no queuing.
How long does a session last?
Each ticket includes two consecutive games, about 30 minutes in total including gear-up and briefing.
Can fewer than four of us play?
Absolutely. Book for one to four players. Bigger group? Book consecutive slots.
How old do players need to be?
The minimum age is 7, with a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian for everyone under 18. Headset manufacturers generally recommend VR for ages 13 and up, and we recommend adult supervision for players aged 7–17.
Will I get motion sick?
Most people don’t. Because you are really walking, what your eyes see matches what your body feels. If you ever feel uncomfortable, tell the crew and we’ll pause right away.
Who can come?
The arena is on Kadena Air Base, so you need base access.
Who runs VREA?
VREA is operated by Carter Entertainment, the same team behind the permanent VRE Arena at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel in Onna, and the VR arena you may have played at America Fest and Freedom Fest on Kadena.
